We are so pleased that you have found our website and we hope that you will decide to come along either to a Sunday Service or to one of our regular activities as shown below:
We really look forward to meeting you 🙂
We are a small friendly Baptist Church with a BIG heart where everyone is welcome - check out this video
Our Church family ranges from our youngest twin boys born in December 2019 to our oldest who is 101 - and many of our family are very new to church life!
Our aim is to open the doors and love people and our guiding verse for 2023 is Psalm 46:10
We are open for Sunday services @ 10.45am every Sunday followed by refreshments. Our Communion service is usually the 1st Sunday of each month. Everyone is welcome 🙂
During COVID we pre-recorded our Sunday services and there are a great selection to watch on YouTube or via DVD on request.
Godly Play is the way that we usually share the Gospel message with our younger children which Arnie leads fortnightly with something for our older children 'seniors' on the opposite Sunday - although our seniors are also welcome to join in with Godly Play.
Arnie has produced many Godly Play stories on line which can be viewed on our YouTube Channel along with other specials by Duggy Dug Dug!
Come and join us for a soup & bread lunch as we explore the Bible together in a friendly and safe environment.
Every 1st & 3rd Thursday of the month at 12.15pm.
Everyone welcome - especially those who are seeking 🙂
Renew SSJ is part of the national Renew Wellbeing Network of 'quiet shared spaces where it is ok not to be ok.'
Come and enjoy a cuppa and a chat, maybe do some colouring or play draughts, or just sit and "be" in our prayer area. Everyone welcome including the little ones 🙂
(Closed on Bank Holidays)
Physical health and mobility is important for everyone regardless of age - so we have invited Jake from JG Fitness to hold his seated exercise & mobility group (£3 per session) every Monday (not Bank Holidays) from 11 - 11.45am.
We are open from 10am - 12 noon so come and enjoy a cuppa and make some new friends 🙂
