We are so pleased that you have found our website and we hope that you will decide to come along either to a Sunday Service or to one of our regular activities as shown below:
We really look forward to meeting you 🙂
We are a small friendly Baptist Church with a BIG heart where everyone is welcome - check out this video
Our wider Church Family ranges from our youngest born in February 2023 to our oldest who is 102 - and many of our family are very new to church life!
Our aim is to open the doors and love people and our guiding verse for 2024 is 1 Peter 3:15
We are open for Sunday services @ 10.45am every Sunday followed by refreshments. Our Communion service is usually the 1st Sunday of each month. Everyone is welcome 🙂
During COVID we pre-recorded our Sunday services and there are a great selection to watch on YouTube or via DVD on request.
Godly Play is the way that we usually share the Gospel message with our younger children which Arnie leads fortnightly with something for our older children 'seniors' on the opposite Sunday - although our seniors are also welcome to join in with Godly Play.
Arnie has produced many Godly Play stories on line which can be viewed on our YouTube Channel along with other specials by Duggy Dug Dug!
A fun, friendly and safe place for young people to come and explore some of the BIG questions about life and to hear how the Bible speaks into these issues.
This is aimed at those in School Years 6-13 and mature younger children who are an active part of the SSJBC Church Family who can engage in a good discussion 🙂
Souper Thursdays are a great way to explore the Bible in a truly relevant way.
Come and enjoy a soup and bread lunch whilst we listen to a passage of scripture and then discuss how it impacts us today. Everyone welcome, especially those who don't yet believe!
Part of the national Renew Wellbeing Network of 'quiet shared spaces where it is ok not to be ok.'
