We are a small friendly Baptist Church with a BIG heart where everyone is welcome - check out this video
Our Sunday church family numbers between 20-30 people whilst our wider church family is over 250 people who pop in regularly for various community events.
Our aim is to open the doors and love people and our guiding verse for 2024 is 1 Peter 3:15
We are open for Sunday services @ 10.45am every Sunday followed by refreshments. Our Communion service is usually the 1st Sunday of each month. Everyone is welcome 🙂
During COVID we pre-recorded our Sunday services and there are a great selection to watch on YouTube
We are always glad to have children and young people as part of our SSJBC family and we will always aim to provide them age related ways of engaging with God's word.
Arnie has produced many Godly Play stories on line which can be viewed on our YouTube Channel along with other specials by Duggy Dug Dug!
New Horizons restarts on 11th October @ 6.30pm - 8pm at SSJBC.
A place for fun, discussion and pizza - so please do let Arnie know if your young people are coming so we don't run out of food!
Souper Thursdays are a great way to explore the Bible in a truly relevant way.
Come and enjoy a soup and bread lunch whilst we listen to a passage of scripture and then discuss how it impacts us today. Everyone welcome, especially those who are seeking but please let Brenda know you are coming
Physical health and mobility is important for everyone - so we have invited Jake from JG Fitness to hold his seated exercise & mobility group from 11 - 11.45am (£4.00 per session) every Monday (not Bank Holidays) .
We are open from 10am 1 2 noon so come and enjoy a cuppa either before or and make some new friends 🙂
Most Monday's at Renew SSJ between 10am - 11am our wonderful volunteer Pat is available to offer help and guidance with any specific issues you have with your laptop, mobile phone or tablet.
